Strange Angel are a Manchester based group of four people experimenting with a wide range of electronic music. Their musical influences are as vast and diverse as their musical output. Everything from house to drum 'n' bass, and from jazz to rock lend a hand at shaping this band's original music.

The band are made up of Flip, Taz, Edam and James who have all been writing music for several years. However, it was only in the summer of 1998 that they decided to collaborate their ideas into one project. Strange Angel was born! Still writing tunes, on the whole, individually - the band members could now turn to each other for advice and criticism. A more general 'strangely angelic' sound emerged but each tune still retained its uniqueness owing to the member behind the original idea.

The first album, Mace Displassment was released just before Christmas and the band are currently hard at work on the second album due out sometime during the autumn of '99.
